Jay-Z and Beyonce to Split After Tour, May Divorce

America’s richest couple are on the verge of a nasty breakup, after an unsuccessful attempt to rekindle the romance by way of a marriage counsellor.


According to reports, Jay and Bey have been seeing a marriage counsellor for nearly 6 months, but have recently decided to call it quits. The couple is citing irreconcilable differences, and revealed that they have grown apart over the years. Many speculated that Jay-Z was involved in an extra-marital affair after his infamous blowup with Beyonce’s sister Solange.

The couple, who are currently on tour together, will continue their business relationship and will co-parent their only child Blue Ivy Carter, but will live separately.

During a stop on the tour, Beyonce hinted at Jay-Z’s infidelity by changing the lyrics of her song “Resentment.”

Beyonce changed “Been ridin’ with you for six years [...] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me” to “Been ridin’ with you for 12 years [...] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me. She ain’t even half of me. That bitch will never be.”

The “On The Run Tour” is expected to conclude on September 13th in Paris.

Jay-Z and Beyonce have not yet decided if they will divorce, but the couple have already removed their wedding rings.
