OSUN ELECTIONS: Man killed during PDP campaign rally

According to reports, Tolu Adeosun, a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 9 Ilesa East, Osun state, was yesterday shot dead in front of his house around Osun Ankanra.

This happened as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Iyiola Omisore, moved his campaign train to Ilesa.
Residents say before his arrival, his gang of miscreants, called “IBK Boys” were seen brandishing cutlasses and shooting sporadically. It was one of the bullets that allegedly hit Adeosun in the abdomen leading him to bleed to death.
Sadly and unfortunately, late Adeosun only held a naming ceremony for his new born baby just the day before his untimely death.
Residents of Ilesa, the hometown of the incumbent Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, say the miscreants have promised more violence for the governor’s supporters.
