Superstar LeBron James has sold his waterfront mansion in Miami for $13.4
million
Originally listed for $17 million, James was forced to drop
his asking price by $2 million to get potential buyers in the door.
Instead of sharing a
dorm room with a bunch of guys, James “college” pad had a game room, theater,
infinity pool and more. He paid $9 million for the house in 2010 after signing
with the Heat.
The home, nestled in Miami’s opulent Coconut Grove neighbourhood,
was purchased by Timo (not Mozgov) and Nathalia Kipp. Real estate publication
The Real Deal was the first to report the sale.
“We’re going to use it as our primary residence”, Timo Kipp
told the website.
James sold the six bedroom and eight and a half bath house
for $13.4 million. “We always thought the price was too high and we were able
to negotiate it down”, he added.
It was later reduced
to $US15 million, and sold for $US13.4 million.
They had actually been leasing James’ home since June but
recently decided to take their talents to the market and move in full-time.
