Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi has been offered to Arsenal.
Italian media sources state Juventus are interested, but they must stave off competition from the Gunners to land their man.
The Gunners are looking for a quality frontman this summer to add to their options, and the club have been strongly linked with superstars such as Karim Benzema and Edinson Cavani.
But with both of those deals costly and difficult to do, reports say Arsenal have been offered Argentine ace Lavezzi as a cheaper but still quality solution.
Lavezzi is surplus to requirements at PSG and has also been shipped around a host of other leading Premier League clubs, including Manchester United.
The 30-year-old is rated at £8.5million and while he reportedly earns £95,000-a-week, he would be a top option.
